Bring Your Story to Life
Writing a book is one of the most meaningful journeys a person can take. It asks us to explore our ideas, our memories, our imagination, and sometimes even the deepest parts of ourselves.
But writing can also be challenging.
Many writers reach a point where they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward. Others finish a manuscript but feel something still isn’t quite working — the structure, the pacing, the clarity of the message.
This is where developmental editing and writing coaching can make all the difference.
For over 12 years, I have worked with writers to help them shape their ideas into powerful, meaningful books. Whether you are just beginning, halfway through a manuscript, or preparing a completed draft for publication, I help you refine your work while staying true to your voice and vision.
About Me
My name is Peter Nathaniel Lee, and I’m a published author, developmental editor, and writing coach.
I am the author of the book Walk with Me, When Grief Passes Love Remains, a deeply personal work exploring healing, loss, and spiritual awakening.
Alongside my writing work, I am also a somatic breath meditation therapist. Over the years I’ve found that many writing blocks are not simply technical — they are emotional, psychological, or creative blocks.
Through a combination of editorial guidance, coaching, and breathwork-based practices, I help writers reconnect with their creative voice and move forward with clarity and confidence.
For more than a decade I’ve supported writers in developing:
-
- memoirs
-
- personal stories
-
- spiritual and self-development books
-
- historical fiction
-
- epic fantasy and genre fiction
-
- essays and blogs
My Approach
I believe that writing is both a craft and a personal journey.
Developmental editing is not simply correcting sentences or grammar. It is about understanding:
-
- the deeper intention behind your work
-
- the emotional core of your story
-
- the structure that allows your message to fully land with readers
When we work together, we look at the big picture of your writing:
-
- narrative structure
-
- character development
-
- pacing and flow
-
- clarity of ideas
-
- emotional impact
-
- thematic coherence
If you’re experiencing writer’s block or creative resistance, we may also explore simple breathwork and grounding practices to help you reconnect with your creative state.
Writing flows best when the mind and body are aligned, and these practices can be surprisingly powerful.
